Are interested in long-term relationships with families
This includes babysitters, nannies, night nannies, family or mother’s helpers, and pet caregivers.
How it works

Submit a short application sharing your experience, availability, and the type of care you offer.
02. We review applications
We review applications on a rolling basis. Not all applicants are accepted — this helps us maintain quality and alignment for families and caregivers.
03. Conversation & references
Selected applicants are contacted for a brief conversation and reference check.
04. Join the network
Accepted caregivers are added to the Lokal network and contacted about opportunities as they align with your availability and preferences.

Rates & expectations
Caregivers in the Lokal network typically charge $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience, responsibilities, and time commitment. Rates are discussed directly between caregivers and families.
